Terms / General engagement boundary

Clear before
work begins.

These are general website and engagement principles. The approved project proposal or contract controls where it contains more specific terms.

01

Website information

Portfolio, service and pricing information on this website is general information, not a binding quote or guarantee. A project becomes commercially agreed only through the applicable written scope, proposal or contract.

02

Scope and changes

Project work is delivered against an approved scope. Requests outside that scope may affect price, timing or delivery and are reviewed separately before they are added.

03

Payment and commencement

Unless a written proposal states otherwise, CRILOX uses the agreed project payment structure shown in the approved proposal. The current standard workflow requires confirmation of the agreed 60% initial deposit before delivery work is authorised.

04

Third-party costs

Domains, hosting, licences, payment-provider fees, external APIs, app-store fees and other third-party costs are identified separately where relevant. Their availability, pricing and policies are controlled by their respective providers.

05

Client responsibilities

A client is responsible for supplying accurate requirements, approvals, content, credentials or access that the agreed work depends on, and for confirming that supplied materials may lawfully be used.

06

Handover and support

Handover and launch responsibilities are defined in the approved scope. Ongoing maintenance, monitoring, content work or new product development is separate unless the written agreement includes it.

07

Portfolio disclosure

CRILOX may describe work in a portfolio only at a level that is appropriate for the engagement. Confidential information, credentials, private data and restricted client details are not intentionally published. Client-specific confidentiality terms take priority.
